FOTD- Neutral

I did nothing special but love these neutrals so much I thought I should share. I know I haven't done anything bold or bright in a long time- but this pregnancy has really changed my makeup looks somehow.  These are a whole bunch of neutrals from different palettes- I just mixed and matched till it was glowy, shiny, but neutral with a kick of pink in my tear duct area.

I used Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner in Pure White in my water line. Also, I've been trying something a bit different with my eyebrows. Believe it or not- they have been terrible lately. I over plucked and over trimmed =-( It was a total mistake because I was in such a hurry when I did it. I really regret not taking my time.

Regardless, I usually just pencil them in but lately I've been using a matte brown shadow in my arch to darken them up and I am starting to like it. Since I have been letting my hair grow out and just using henna once every few months- my hair is much darker and this look seems to fit better. On my lips- L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm in Tender Mauve. Review coming soon!! Till next time!

More Neutrals...

Yup- another look using my Physicians Formula Shimmer Stripes Palette in Nude. I used some of the darker colors and yet even though in person this looked different, I feel like the pictures look the same. =-/ I used four colors this time and all different except for the highlight- which I used the lightest color.

The eyeliner is Wet 'N Wild Mega Liner in Black Sparkle, Rimmel Lash Accelerator Mascara in Extreme Black, L'Oreal Infallible Makeup in Natural Buff, and the lipstick was a mixture of Wet 'N Wild Mega Last in Think Pink and L'Oreal Colour Riche in Berry Royale.

I included full face pics to show the full look simply because you can tell the shades are darker this way than closer up. I was about to cook breakfast and had an apron on- lol. Hope you liked the look- till next time!

Nude!

After seeing this little palette pop up every once in a while, I went and bought it. I decided I don't have that many neutrals and honestly- I'm super into them right now. I have a feeling I'm going t be doing neutrals for a while to come... This palette is the Physicians Formula Shimmer Stripes Palette in Nude. (Review coming up) It's got some gorgeous colors and they are perfect for everyday wear. Not to mention I am wearing the Rimmel Mascara that I had just reviewed and also I had seen aBrilliantBrunette's blog a while back where she featured some new Wet 'N Wild liners- so the eyeliner I have on in the pics is in the color Black Sparkle. That's right- it has silver glitter in it! Not an overkill- just a slight shimmer which I thought was cool. I LOVE this look. Till next time!!

Beachy Hues

I did this look the other day and took pics without first blending out my eyebrows for some reason. (Weird I know!) I guess I forgot. Either way- I used some shadows I hadn't touched in a long time. Over my lid I used NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk and over that CoverGirl Eye Enhancers in Gold Sizzle. In my crease I used Avon iMark eyeshadow in South Beach.

My highlight and inner corner color was iMark shadow in Cloud 9. I feel like I haven't done anything too special. I've been sticking to shadows that I want to use up and get rid of!! I have been refusing to buy anything new for a long time now but I know eventually I will cave in. I've been strong for a while now.. lol- too long!

Either way- this look reminded me of the beach. I haven't been there in so long. I used to go swimming so much and then one day there was a couple who was fishing and they caught a stingray!! Not to mention there was baby sharks in the water swimming around us. I swore never to get in again and I haven't- but I do miss it so much. Anyone been to the beach this year yet?

Peach, Pink, and Some Brown

Yesterday I got taken out to eat by my husband and father in law right before one of my finals. So, I thought I'd do something with my face! Lately it feels like I wear less and less makeup- and I don't like it!! Lol- but it's good too. I've given my face a big rest.

I used nothing but Detrivore Cosmetics for my eye shadows except for my highlight which was from one of my many Avon palettes. On my lid, over ELF primer, I've got Treason, then from the crease to the brow bone it's Sexualis, and in my crease you will find a little bit of Hack. I winged my liner a bit more this time.

It makes my eyes look a little more cat like and I love that. Hope everyone is doing good. Those of you taking finals- pass!! The whole semester's worth of work boils down to this moment! Till next time!

Feelin' Light

This week has been so stressful!! I cannot begin to explain how tired I am and how I have been so busy at school. The last three weeks  is when there is more pressure than ever! So I have neglected my face somewhat...

This was a very light makeup look I did today because I felt I hadn't done anything since Easter. I used ELF Primer all over lid, then Glamour Doll Eyes in Electric Lemonade from my crease to my brow bone. I also used Glamour Doll Eyes in Glam Girl in my crease and a tiny bit on my lower outer corner. Just to give the look some depth. Wet 'N Wild Mega Liner in Brown (I want new colors someday when I have time to go shopping again...) and L'Oreal Voluminous False Lashes mascara.

Super easy, super simple, and what I call a feelin' light look. =-) Hope you guys are doing great!! Till next time!

Treason & Hack Feat. Detrivore Cosmetics

This is a look I wore to my doctor's appointment on Monday- no makeup since.. =-/ I wore Treason on my lid over ELF primer and NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk. I used Hack in my crease and Whisper by Mark as my highlight.

Apparently I've just been hooked on my brown liquid liner by Wet 'N Wild because I've been using it wayyy too much. and ELF Mineral Infused Mascara in black. I used Peach Parfait from the Revlon Lip Butters which went perfect with this look!! Forgot to take a pic though. =/

Hopefully I get caught up on the blog soon. Again- I apologize guys! But I thank you for all the wonderful comments. They mean the world to me. =-)

Glamour Doll Eyes in Dirty Jeans With A Touch of Bronze

I haven't done a look in a while with Glamour Doll Eyes in Dirty Jeans and I love pairing it with browns or bronze colors because this beautiful blue has a golden shimmer to it. I used a really pretty bronze color from a random palette in my crease and Wet 'N Wild Mega Liner in Brown.

I used used the liquid liner under my eye and tried blending a little bit of the shadow over it to soften it up. One tip to make Dirty Jeans really pop- use a mixing medium. Applied alone the color is shimmery but very translucent to my liking. I used it over LA Splash Splash Proof Sealer which makes the blue pop out and gives you even more shimmer all together.

I used Revlon ColorStay foundation in Nude on my face and for my lips I used NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm. Sorry about my lashes once again, for days they have been parting in the middle and I seriously don't know what to do to make them stop!! Hopefully this doesn't last forever... till next time! =-)

My Reddish, Golden Breakfast

I am so behind on posting my blog. I take pics and do it with the total intention of posting, but this week has been so out of wack! If I only began to describe it.. lol. Since I had been using the 120 palette lately (and trying so hard to use it more often since it's been abandoned for a while) this look was purely done with it. I used a really pretty reddish brown in my crease and yellowish gold on my lid.

I blended the reddish brown onto the outer part of my lid and from there on just kept using all the lighter golden colors all the way up to my brow where I used a very thin line of white. I'm sure you cannot tell there is a huge layer of blended out golds going up- but in person in was shiny and super cute in the sun! I even used some of the left over from the brush in my tear duct and the reddish brown under my eye.

My lashes haven't been cooperating lately. For some reason, the last few looks I've done they just decide to split right through the middle. Oops- forgot to mention I used Wet 'N Wild Mega Liner in Brown and just a regular black pencil in my water line. (Which had partially disappeared by the time I took the pics.)

It was a beautiful look and I really wish you could see the colors better in the pics. Till next time! =-)

Completely Neutral

I bought a new brown liquid liner- Wet 'N Wild Mega Liner in Brown and experimented with it after being so disappointed with it. It does last long- but it's not brown- it's bronze. It has a very metallic finish and I've been trying to make it work to where you can see it- because it's so light and bronzy.

I used the Avon Mocha Latte palette with the taupe color as my lid, the darker brown in the crease, and the bronze to blend the dark brown with the highlight. NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk in my water line and brown under my eye. (Yes I curled my lashes- lol they look so much bigger curled.)

I was very happy with the extremely neutral look but the next day I decided to change it up  bit. Below I used the same eyeshadows- in the same way. Except I used a frosty white on my lid to try to bring out the brown liquid eyeliner more. It seemed to have worked better.

Yesterday was cloudy outside- as you can tell in the last three pics. Another difference was that I used black eyeliner in my waterline instead of the white one. I am still not too sure which one I liked best.

The only thing I can assure you is that this "brown" liquid liner left me wanting a dark matte brown. I'm not saying I don't like it- just that I prefer more definition over color when it comes to my lash line. Whether the color is bright or dark.

Hope you liked the look. Let me know which one you think looks better. Or if I just need to get a darker line... lol! Thanks for stopping by!
