Galaxy Nails Pt. 1
My cousin Michelle and I got together to do our nails a couple of weeks ago and she wanted galaxy nails. At first I didn't think I could- but after watching some youtube- I was willing to try and so happy I did. With a sponge tip and some dotting tools- we achieve this awesome nail look!
Colors used in the actually galaxy part with a sponge: coral, white, yellow, blue glitter, and Hidden Treason from Sally Hanson. All of this over a black base and white for the stars with a dotting tool. A thick clear coat and it was done. I cannot describe how shiny and sparkly this galaxies look like in the sun. They were gorgeous. I like them so much she did the same look on my nails- which is the next blog post that will be up soon. Hoped you liked the look- we loved it!! Till next time!!

Panda Nails!!
My best bud Sarahi came over and I did her nails- Pandas!! They were so cute!! We took the pics without cleaning up the edges unfortunately- but they were so worth taking pictures of regardless. I used a neon green from Claire's as the base- two coats to be exact.
Then, with White Out from Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear I drew on the panda's face and filled it in. With my dotting tools I dotted on black ears, eyes, and a nose. With a tiny dotting tool I gave the pandas some pupils. One nail got a little messed up- (above) poor panda!!
She loved them and so did I! Hope you did too. =-) Till next time!

Cute, Colorful Dotted Nails!!
My best bud came over and we made a day out of playing with my new nail art brushes and dotting tools. It was too fun!! We got on youtube and decided to recreate some nail art looks with what we had. The above penguins are the ones I did on my friends nails. They were too cute and she loved them so much! (http://youtu.be/di2XYlRqkow)
To the right (and please excuse the nail edges that were not cleaned up) was a look we saw on youtube where it looked like paint was dripping and it was like a psychedelic type of look and we tried and loved it! On her middle finger we tried doing music notes. (http://youtu.be/Fhg8U1vRQ0A)
These nails to the left are mine. I saw this one tutorial where a girl did watermelon nails so I tried that one two of mine- loved!! (http://youtu.be/XMY8hpcxG6I) And the others ones do not look like the tutorial I saw- it's similar though. I liked my version even though it wasn't half as pretty. (http://youtu.be/MGRjlMjeTdw)
The dotting tools turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought they'd be. You really just need a little bit of inspiration of some awesome youtuber's video to try out. I just went through my youtube history and posted all the links so you guys can check out these awesome vids!! =-) Till next time!!

My New Dotting Tools =-)
I was so excited when I got on ebay and saw that my dotting tools were in the mail! Lol- doesn't it feel awesome to finally get something you've been waiting on? I was dying to try these out because I've seen some really neat ideas on youtube and today I didn't do anything special because I was so excited to just do SOMETHING lol!
These were super cheap and work pretty awesome. I paid $1.86 and the shipping was FREE! Of course, shipments from Hong Kong take about 2 weeks- but I didn't mind for what I paid. Below is was just an experiment to try them out- but I've got some pretty neat ideas for next weekend's polish change. (I didn't clean the edges before the took the pic below). This is the link to order them- but of course, look around first. There's other colors if you're interested in buying! http://www.ebay.com/itm/290716444394
The next shipment I'm waiting for is a nail art brush set. School is almost up and I plan to play with my nails the rest of the summer. My baby is due August 10th so I might start posting belly pics as well as more nail and makeup pics. My baby's grown a lot! 33 weeks down, 7 to go! =-)

Wing It Wine Creme Polish
This is actually an old polish my mom got me a long time ago and I had completely forgotten I had it! It absolutely love it!! It's the N.Y.C. Long Wearing Nail Enamel in Wing It Wine Creme (above). It looks gorgeous in the sun! It's a pinkish color with a gold shimmer to it- love!!
But- I'm all into my Sally Hanson Diamond Strength in Ring-A-Ding right now so I added two coats over and them and some Xtreme Wear in Invisible. I LOVED IT!!!
This is not much different than the last one I posted up- I realize that- but I had to share that polish color with you. Again, took the pics before I cleaned up around the edges so... lol! Till next time!

Rose Gold Nails
Yesterday my hubby bought me the Sally Hanson Diamond Strength Jewel Overcoat polish in Ring-a-Ding! which is the polish on the top at the far right. He also bought me the Wet 'N Wild Megalast nail color in Sugar Coat because I thought it would look nice under the Sally Hanson glitter one. Plus I had been wanting to try out these new Wet 'N Wild polishes since they are supposed to have an awesome brush- and they do!
I did my nails and toe nails the same to match. I used two coats of the Sugar Coat above and three coats of the Sally Hanson glitter polish. I had somewhat of a hard time getting enough glitter on so it took that much. One thing I have to say about the Wet 'N Wild polish was that it is so translucent that I didn't like it much with only two coats but I didn't want to keep adding more. It took three coats on my toe nails so that it didn't look so translucent. I plan to try another color next time, I'm not sure if it just happened because it's such a light color. But I liked it regardless.
Above I took a picture in the sun, and the other outside in natural light but without the sun hitting my nails. I love the color of the flakes- it has rose gold, gold, and there seems to be a bit of silver here and there. LOVE!!!! Gold is my favorite color and rose gold right after...I am thinking of doing a look on my eyes to match this soon.
BTW: no, I didn't clean the edges before I took the pics lol- I was letting them dry completely. I get too excited to take pics with my nails that I never wait to entirely finish. Here I took a picture inside just to give you another angle in different lighting again. To me, it makes a big difference where and how you're looking at it. I did top it all off with one coat of Sally Hanson Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Clear. My toe nails look awesome with sandals now!! Hope you liked it- till next time!!

Hidden Treasure
I've shown this before on my blog- but I did my nails with it again. I never got tired of this polish and I know Essie has a similar one out that I'm planning to get before this one runs out!! I used it over Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear in Black Out and with Sally Hanson Xtreme Wear in Invisible as my top coat. I hadn't finished cleaning up my edges but I took the pic to show a friend and decided to post it up. Why not- I love this polish!! I'm planning to try it over blue soon. I think it would look awesome!! Have you guys tried any of these awesome flaky polishes?
